About Mama Roda

Portrait of Mama Roda — Coming Soon

My love for cooking began at home in Rwanda, where the kitchen was the heart of every gathering. Growing up, I learned that a great meal wasn't just about the food — it was about bringing people together, stirring conversations as often as I stirred pots.

I opened my first small restaurant in Rwanda, and there I watched strangers become family over a shared plate. The rhythm of the kitchen, the scent of spices in the morning, the gratitude on a full stomach — this is what I love most about cooking.

"A great meal isn't just about the food — it's about bringing people together."

When I came to Georgia, I brought those same recipes, those same spices, and that same love. Olive Kitchen is my way of bringing a little piece of home to Snellville — one dish at a time.

Whether it's a weekday dinner or a weekend celebration, I cook every meal like I'm feeding my own family. I hope you'll taste the difference.
